A Trip To Boulder City and Hoover Dam

Last weekend Dan and I went to a new place for breakfast. “The World-Famous Coffee Cup”. Guy Fieri, had this restaurant on "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" and of course he recommended the Coffee Cup very highly. Now we have eaten at one other restaurant Guy suggested, and unfortunately we didn’t have the same wonderful experience as we had this time. We drove to Boulder City early on Good Friday. The restaurant is so interesting with all kinds of pictures on the walls. Remember it’s a diner and has the ambiance of a diner. We were greeted with smiles and choose to sit down at the counter. The menu was huge. We ordered our usual breakfast wherever we dine out for breakfast. Dan’s test is Chicken Fried Steak with soft scrambled eggs. I always order Biscuits and Gravy with two over easy eggs. If the Chicken Fried Steak and the Biscuits and Gravy pass then the restaurant is a keeper. When they served us, it looked like home cooked food. Nothing fancy just great looking fidels. And the taste was out of this world. Dan didn’t need a knife to cut his steak. And the sausage gravy was perfectly prepared. If you are looking for a four star, reasonably priced place for breakfast, we recommend this diner. It’s a quick drive from Henderson, NV. Casual dress.
Open For Breakfast And Lunch
6 a.m. To 2 p.m. Daily
512 Nevada Way, Boulder City, Nevada 89005
They are also open for Happy Hour at 4 PM, when they turn the diner into a pub and grill. After eating there’s plenty of little stores and Antique Shops. And of course there’s always  Hoover Dam. So if you are out and about in Boulder City, NV stop by for a bite. You won’t be sorry.
